  • Maintain a high level of visibility and presence in the security booth, completing records and shift activity logs as required.
  • Safeguard the assets of Hollywoodbr, including guests, employees, and property.
  • Perform chip and credit transactions, money and marker transfers, and verify amounts in accordance with company and state guidelines.
  • Respond to all emergencies and work with casino management to resolve issues.
  • Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow employees.
  • Perform minor first aid and report all illnesses and injuries to the supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively via two-way radio and maintain crowd control.
  • Stay alert for all safety concerns and inform guests of safety hazards and property events.
  • Report any problems to the Security Supervisor or Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be mentally and physically capable to handle an emergency situation.
  • Must be able to handle large jobs and work well under pressure.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully complete our RVP training course.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand at a secured post for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The cast member is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • The cast member is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The cast member is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud due to music in the casino lobby and entertainment complex.
