About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computerized Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity during scans and report any abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree.
