Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in a travel position. As a Catheterization Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and peripheral angiograms.
- Operate and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical histories and procedure reports.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and laboratory efficiency.
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a catheterization laboratory or similar environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
