We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.

As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting nuclear medicine procedures and working closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Job

  • This is a full-time position, requiring on-call shifts and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology, including experience with PET scans and certification in NMTCB and IEMA.
  • A valid driver's license or government photo ID is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans and other diagnostic imaging tests.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Certification in NMTCB and IEMA.
  • At least one year of experience in nuclear medicine technology.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
