Key Responsibilities
  • Guide, train, and oversee team members utilizing established production techniques to ensure high-quality output while meeting production timelines.
  • Assign tasks, procure necessary components, and communicate production requirements effectively to team members, while conducting quality and safety audits.
  • Uphold a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Achieve or surpass organizational metrics related to safety, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.
  • Document and manage production reports, scrap documentation, incident reports, and disciplinary actions, while promoting adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Analyze actual performance against planned objectives and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Utilize precise measurement tools to monitor key performance indicators, identify negative trends, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by meeting key performance indicators such as Quality, Safety, Productivity, Scrap Rates, Labor Efficiencies, On-time Delivery, Machine Downtime, and Inventory Levels.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee-management relations and team-building initiatives.
  • Recognize and communicate the capabilities of team members to higher management.
  • Proactively apply Lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety outcomes.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks using systems such as Mapics, Kronos, and Zone.
  • Engage in additional projects and responsibilities to support ongoing business objectives.

  • Provides guidance and direction to team members.
  • Utilizes experience and judgment to achieve assigned tasks and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing assembly processes, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Understanding of Production Daikin System and Flexible Manufacturing System (in-house training provided).
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to envision, develop, direct, manage, delegate responsibilities, and motivate team members.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Experience & Education
  • Minimum of 5 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Educational Background
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • PDS/FMS Certification obtained through in-house training program.
