Job Overview:

As a Clinical Research Nurse at TriHealth, you will play a critical role in the coordination and implementation of clinical research studies. You will serve as a liaison between study sponsors, study monitors, principal investigators, and hospital staff to ensure the efficient and effective conduct of research studies.

You will be responsible for actively participating in the selection of studies, developing implementation plans, identifying potential subjects, and enrolling subjects in research studies. You will also be responsible for educating patients and coordinating their care on research studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes to facilitate the implementation of research protocols
  • Identify and address potential issues that may impact the accuracy of research protocols
  • Coordinate activities between study coordinators and principal investigators
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of research subjects and implement care plans
  • Comply with IRB and FDA regulations and standards
  • Assess potential subjects for inclusion and exclusion criteria
  • Keep case report forms complete and thorough
  • Support hospital staff in complying with research protocols
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (after 2 years of full-time research experience)
  • Registered Nurse
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of clinical research
Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and sitting. You may be required to lift up to 10 pounds and push/pull objects. You will also be required to use your hands frequently and have good visual acuity.
