A & Associates is seeking a dedicated Security Operations Officer to enhance our team. The Security Operations Officer plays a crucial role in safeguarding the client and the designated premises from any unlawful activities or unauthorized access.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, keen observational abilities, and prior experience in surveillance, ideally within a law enforcement context. This individual must demonstrate the capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations while showcasing patience and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises or buildings as assigned. In the event of suspicious behavior, promptly notify local authorities. Monitor surveillance cameras and observe crowds as necessary. Establish and verify identification protocols for entry to the premises. Ensure all access points, including doors, windows, and gates, are secured on a scheduled basis. Assist in escorting individuals off the property when required.
- Investigation: Actively respond to alerts regarding suspicious activities. If an individual is suspected of engaging in criminal behavior, secure the area and the individual, and report to local authorities. Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Certification in security guard training is essential.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or sitting for extended periods, and detaining an individual if necessary.
