Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Diver to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Senior Commercial Diver, you will be responsible for executing a diverse set of underwater and topside tasks, inspections, and repairs, while prioritizing the safety of yourself and your team.
Key Responsibilities- Set up a dive station and ensure all equipment is functioning as designed.
- Complete all required daily safety sheets and hold daily safety meetings.
- Understand and follow health and safety procedures related to the work.
- Perform basic construction skills, including concrete, steel, carpentry, welding, fabricating, etc.
- Understand the project scope and associated tasks.
- Understand line pull, rigging, and crane signals.
- Demonstrate proper rigging techniques.
- Complete assigned tasks and meet agreed-upon expectations.
- Commercial dive school certificate, US Navy dive training certificate, or ADCI dive certification card.
- 3+ years of experience required.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in the English language.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Work hard, remain motivated, and be a self-starter.
- Current Blood Borne Pathogens, First Aid, CPR, DAN O2 Administration certifications.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Current ADCI Fit to Dive physical.
- 10hr OSHA General Construction Course.
- 30hr OSHA Construction Course.
