Role Summary: This position is responsible for various accounting functions related to cost, finance, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and assess financial data to prepare journal entries for general ledger accounts that accurately reflect business transactions.
  • Ensure the accurate entry of journal entries into the general ledger.
  • Review accounts for discrepancies or unusual activities and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Manage all tasks associated with the general ledger and related activities.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes and initiatives.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyze and interpret financial reports, bank statements, and accounting regulations, assessing their impact on the organization.
  • Support the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc analyses as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in manufacturing accounting, account analysis, and comprehensive problem-solving.
  • Ability to quickly absorb information and facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at working within a cross-functional and matrixed organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Positive demeanor and adaptability to changing work priorities.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent qualifications.
