Job Description

At RAYUS Radiology, we are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in DeSoto, TX. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

This is a per diem position that requires flexibility and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Screen patients before exams to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Adjust scan parameters as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring offices, and other associates and peers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of MRI technology and be able to maintain accurate patient records within our Radiology Information System (RIS). Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations, and following physicians' orders precisely.

Department Support:
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and cleaning after each use.
  • Help maintain an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience, and a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
