Pharmacy Courier

Overview:

Woodmark Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and skilled Pharmacy Driver to transport medications and medical supplies to assigned destinations. This part-time position requires a clean driving record and the ability to navigate Western New York roadways, including the New York State Thruways.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver inter-office mail, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment according to an established schedule.
• Notify customers of any delays in delivery.
• Drive safely and responsibly to minimize damage or excessive wear and tear on delivery vehicles.
• Report any mechanical issues with delivery vehicles to the Director of Pharmacy Services.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are in safe operating condition, including regular maintenance and inspections.
• Remove trash and empty boxes from the dispensing area as directed.
• Clear the Pharmacy entrance of snow and ice during scheduled work time.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Able to comprehend orders and directions to successfully distribute mail, medications, and medical supplies.
• Familiarity with Western New York roadways and confident driving in various weather conditions.
• Able to operate a full-size cargo van, small panel truck, or automobile.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors.
