The Job:
We are seeking a Lead Publication Planner for Hematology/Oncology to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategic publication plans, managing budgets across several projects, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic publication plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including medical affairs directors, other medical communication leads, HEOR, biostatistics, clinical development, medical science liaisons, and other members of the publications team
- Establish strong working relationships with authors and other external experts
- Manage all financial and contractual aspects of assigned projects, including external vendors
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific degree (Doctorate degree preferred: PhD, PharmD, or MD)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical medical communications/publications, medical writing, or other medical affairs scientific functions, or at a medical communications agency as a medical director and/or writer
- Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred
Salary Range: $156,000 - $234,000
Total Compensation Package: Our total compensation package includes a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation, discretionary equity grants, and various benefits offerings, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement savings plan, and flexible paid vacation.
