About the Position

Closures White Cap Corp is seeking a skilled Packaging and Inventory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging and inventory of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and distribute raw materials and finished goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Packaging Operations: Set up and operate packaging equipment, including labeling and stretch wrapping machines.
  • Material Handling: Use a forklift to transport materials and supplies throughout the production area.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and accuracy, and report any issues to the production team.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and meet production deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6-12 months of experience with forklifts and/or manufacturing equipment.
  • Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read and comprehend production schedules, and knowledge of OSHA and ANSI B56.5 standards.
Working Conditions

The Packaging and Inventory Technician will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.
