Barista

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating personalized experiences for customers by demonstrating knowledge of our coffee, products, and offers. You will actively seek to recognize, include, appreciate, support, and delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Be Committed to Customers: Develop expertise in your craft while maintaining equipment and the store environment. Use appropriate routines to craft and serve only the highest quality products. Continuously hone your craft through learning and practice. Ensure food and merchandise is visually appealing, stocked, and signed appropriately.

• Be Focused on Quality: Contribute to the success of the team and support others to do their best work. Follow established policies and guidelines. Communicate important information to the store leader(s) and the team in a timely manner.

• Be Dedicated to Each Other: May operate and be responsible for cash register operations. Follow policies and procedures to ensure proper money handling to avoid cash overages or shortages. Responsible for general sanitation in the department. Follow cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure that work areas, equipment, counters, display cases, etc. are well maintained, clean and meet all health and OSHA requirements. Disposes of trash properly.
