As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for applying the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation.

Responsibilities:

* Obtain patient clinical history and lab work, ensuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.
* Position and immobilize patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
* Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
* Perform radiographic procedures by selecting and operating imaging equipment, and/or associated accessories to successfully perform procedures.
* Verify informed consent and complete pre and post-procedure documentation.
* Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, applying appropriate aseptic surgical technique as needed.

Requirements:

* Associates degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred)
* Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
* State licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
* BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (required)
* 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
* Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)
