About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health, working on our 50-bed Mental Health Recovery Adult unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with Psychiatrists, Therapists, Dietitians, and other clinical staff to develop and implement effective plans of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement patient care plans, assessing patients physically and mentally to identify needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote understanding and engagement in care.
  • Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of treatments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment, with a valid license in good standing.
  • American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within 30 days of hire, with bi-annual re-certification.
  • Formal training in management of aggressive patients required within 60 days of hire, with annual re-certification.
  • Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
  • At the Hospital's discretion, may be required to hold a qualified medical professional (QMP) designation, with annual evaluation and potential renewal.
