Job Title: Travel ICU RN

We are seeking a skilled Travel ICU RN to join our team at Glens Falls Hospital. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic ICU environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

This Travel ICU RN position requires a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU setting
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs and lab results
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
  • Current NY RN license
  • 2+ years of ICU experience
  • 1+ year of travel experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend
Work Environment:

The ICU at Glens Falls Hospital is a 16-bed unit with a RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2. The unit is equipped with Cerner EMR and features a dynamic and supportive team environment.
