Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing endovascular procedures on patients, monitoring patient hemodynamic status, and documenting during procedures.

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing specific high-technology equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology, as well as endovascular peripheral intervention.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform endovascular procedures on patients, including cardiac catheterizations and peripheral angioplasty
  • Monitor patient hemodynamic status and document during procedures
  • Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease
  • Maintain job and license requirements, including attending mandatory in-services and staff meetings
  • Participate in self-education and complete required competency assessments
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred
  • Registered by the A.R.R.T., R.T.(R) is required
  • BLS and ACLS certification within probationary period
  • WV Medical Imaging License required
