About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Riley Children's Hospital - North. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, working closely with patients and team members to build personalized therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support
  • Work with groundbreaking technologies and therapies
  • Grow medical knowledge and skills by working closely with patients and team members
  • Participate in promotional ladder within IU Health for continued professional advancement
Requirements
  • Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana
  • Graduation from a CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program
  • Pass the N.B.R.C. registry exam within 13 months of hire date
  • Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Preferred ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential patient information
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR
