Job Summary:

Turion Space is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
  • Lead project execution, coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to ensure project success.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including team members and budgets, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project reviews.
  • Ensure that IT solutions are delivered according to specifications and meet the company's quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects successfully.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience applying them in practice.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with experience managing large-scale IT projects or programs.
  • Expertise in advanced project management tools and techniques, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)).
  • Experience in aerospace or technology sectors, particularly with applications related to space exploration or satellite systems.
