The primary responsibility within the substance abuse treatment services, reporting directly to the Clinical Program Director. Key responsibilities include:
Essential Functions:
- Delivers counseling services under the supervision of the Clinical Program Director.
- Provides treatment for alcohol and drug dependency in collaboration with the Clinical Program Director.
- Completes assigned tasks with professionalism and efficiency.
- Reports any suspected incidents of abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities as required.
- Ensures the accuracy and promptness of documentation.
- Facilitates the availability of records for audits.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments of clients, collecting social histories and necessary treatment documentation.
- Offers information and referral services to clients.
- Works closely with the Clinical Program Director to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
- Conducts intake assessments and screenings for prospective clients.
- Collaborates with clients and the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Creates discharge summaries and plans in conjunction with clients and the treatment team.
- Facilitates group sessions and educational lectures for clients.
- Manages client case files related to substance abuse treatment.
- Handles necessary communication with payers, families, and referrals while adhering to confidentiality regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining comprehensive client records.
- Participates in scheduled staff meetings.
- Acts as an active member of the treatment team.
- Upholds client confidentiality and rights.
- Reports directly to the Clinical Program Director.
