Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat occupational therapy patients under physician orders, developing personalized treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in patient medical records, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to reduce costs and improve productivity in the occupational therapy department.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all members of the patient's healthcare team, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Entry-level or new graduate candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Occupational Therapy licensure in Iowa or eligibility for licensure in Iowa.
  • Valid Iowa Driver's License.
  • Maintain Basic Life Support certification.
