We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance.

• Reads and interprets specification manuals, blueprints, and layouts to determine machining operations to be performed.
• Computes dimensions and tolerances, and measures and lays out work pieces.
• Verifies dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoots, debugs, and modifies to achieve expected performance.
• Adjusts and sets up machine tools for use by machining tool operators.
• Participates in continuous improvement of cell processes and cross-trains in other complementary skills.

• High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and precision.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing, tool design, fabrication methods, and processes.
• Working knowledge of welding, hydraulics, electricity, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Working knowledge of related company instructions, company processes, and original equipment manufacturer manuals.
