Medical Specialist for Disability Assessments

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at MRG Exams.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to utilize your medical expertise in performing disability assessments on United States Veterans. You will be responsible for reviewing medical records electronically and conducting in-person physical exams.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
Key Responsibilities- Review medical records electronically through a web portal
- Conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran
- Electronically document exam findings required by the VA
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires
- Current and unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
- Proficiently use a computer
- Training and continued support provided
- Health Insurance options available
- Computer supplied
- Typical day: 3 to 5 patients a day
- Set schedule during normal business hours, with no call duties
