Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Nurse to join our team at Piedmont HealthCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or eligibility for licensure through the NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
