KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and timeliness
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues directly
  • Track inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Maintain food quality and ensure the kitchen is well-kept
  • Assist junior kitchen staff with tasks such as cooking, food prep, and plating
  • Implement and uphold sanitation and safety standards
  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful completion of a 10-year criminal background check
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and industry best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position may require working during holidays, weekends, and evenings. Hours will fluctuate based on business demands and staffing requirements. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours), and the role involves bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs., along with repetitive hand and wrist movements.
