Job Summary

As a Radiation Oncology Tech at Sentara, you will play a critical role in providing radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Your duties will include reviewing prescriptions and diagnoses, acting as a liaison with physicians and supportive care personnel, preparing equipment, and maintaining records and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and implement radiation therapy plans according to established practices and standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and supportive care personnel to ensure seamless patient care
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, including immobilization, treatment, and protection devices
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports
Requirements
  • Associate's Level Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT Radiation Therapy certification
  • Basic Life Support certification
