Job Title: EHR Training Specialist

Job Summary:

The EHR Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality training to healthcare professionals on the use of electronic health records (EHRs). This role requires strong communication and technical skills to ensure seamless training experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for new and current employees on EHR systems and associated technology.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and HR to ensure all end users have access to training materials and resources.
  • Update and maintain training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide training and support for peripheral devices and equipment required for job functions.
  • Work with departments and team members to improve efficiency and increase functionality within the system.
  • Coordinate education classes and provide go-live support for new facilities and services.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a related clinical area or equivalent training and/or EHR experience.
  • Minimum one year of clinical or equivalent experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in healthcare information systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
