Travel Nurse RN

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other medical specialists to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care, including education, support, and resources.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed.
