Position Overview
The Investment Analyst, Renewable Energy is an integral member of our investment team. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities that support the overall business strategy, including investment origination, financial modeling, and comprehensive industry research.
Key Responsibilities
As an Investment Analyst, your duties will include:
- Conducting thorough research and analysis of economic and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Creating and managing financial models to assist various teams within the organization.
- Supporting team members in the internal investment approval process.
- Enhancing financial optimization and deal tracking processes.
- Analyzing complex legal documents to assess their impact on financial models and investment strategies.
Portfolio Management
Your role will also involve:
- Compiling and analyzing data to model current and future portfolio performance.
- Summarizing financial data and performance metrics of operational assets.
- Reporting on changes in portfolio composition and investment performance.
Pipeline Management
In collaboration with the Origination team, you will:
- Provide insights on pricing strategies for power purchase agreements.
- Model early-stage renewable energy projects.
- Deliver financial analysis for various initiatives, including revenue requirements and development cost impacts.
Additional Responsibilities
You will also support other departments with financial analysis and conduct market assessments to back investment theses.
