Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians, following established clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Conduct finger stick blood glucose testing and administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as needed.
  • Document medication administration and any unusual reactions in the resident's record.
  • Provide routine care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing as needed.
  • Complete dressing changes and report any changes to licensed nurses.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Nursing Aide in the State of Georgia.
  • Certified Medication Aide in the State of Georgia.
