Job Title: Medical Surgical RN

Scout Exchange is seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute hospital nursing and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
  • 2+ years of experience in acute hospital nursing, preferably in a medical-surgical setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work a 13-week contract with a 50-mile local radius.
