">Key Responsibilities:

- Assist physicians with clinical and administrative tasks.">
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure they are comfortable and ready for their appointment.">
- Complete exam intake and ensure accurate charting for the physician.">
- Provide patient care under the direction of a podiatric physician, including taking and developing x-rays.">
- Perform daily administrative tasks, such as stocking exam rooms and disposing of trash.">
- Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms after each patient visit and at the end of each day.">
- Sterilize instruments daily.">
- Satisfy and document quality measures and audits.">
- Travel to surrounding area clinics to provide support if needed.">
- Support the connection of patients to our extended care team of Nurse Practitioners and Care Navigators.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant; MA Certification is a plus.">
- Prior experience in a podiatry or orthopedic clinic is preferred.">
- X-ray experience is a plus.">
- Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of medical terminology.">
- Previous experience working in an EMR system, preferably athenahealth EMR.">
- Exceptional customer service orientation featuring empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor with each interaction.">
- Demonstrated experience as a motivated and dedicated team member with a stable work history.">
- Reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.">
