Position Overview: The Department of Radiology at Children's Mercy Hospital in collaboration with the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated clinical and academic pediatric radiologist to enhance our esteemed Pediatric Radiology team.

Work Environment: This role is situated within a collegial atmosphere at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, a well-established 195-bed facility in the St. Louis area. The position offers an independent practice style with comprehensive management of pediatric imaging services, complemented by teleradiology access to expert pediatric radiologists.

Qualifications: Candidates must be CAQ-certified or CAQ-eligible in Pediatric Radiology. The role encompasses all facets of pediatric imaging, with the exception of nuclear medicine, cardiac imaging, and interventional radiology. Teaching responsibilities will involve mentoring radiology residents from various residency programs.

Research and Academic Opportunities: While research involvement is available, it is not a mandatory component of the position. Academic appointments will be facilitated through the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine, with an adjunct role at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Our program proudly hosts a CAQ-accredited pediatric radiology fellowship.

Department Growth: Over the past decade, Children's Mercy and UMKC have experienced significant expansion, with our Radiology Department now comprising 27 radiologists specializing in diverse areas of pediatric imaging.
