We are seeking a skilled and dedicated physician to join our team as a Hybrid Physician. This unique opportunity combines the challenges and rewards of working in both acute and post-acute settings.
Role OverviewAs a Hybrid Physician, you will spend approximately 50% of your time working as a hospitalist at Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland. Your responsibilities will include admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, and planning for discharge.
The remaining 50% of your time will be spent serving as an attending physician across several skilled nursing facility clients in Southern Maryland. Your duties will include performing exams, developing treatment plans, adhering to Adfinitas and facility policies and procedures, facilitating patients' transitions within and between healthcare settings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members.
Requirements- Board eligible/Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of email, are necessary for interacting with healthcare professionals, Adfinitas colleagues, family members, and patients
- Team-oriented attitude toward patient care

- Skills in diagnosing and treating diseases
- Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, BLS and ACLS
