Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
  • Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved work operations
  • Install and configure systems and other software
  • Test installed software for malfunction detection
  • Identify and resolve business systems issues
  • Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
  • Measure effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve systems
  • Monitor and test system performance
  • Oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Seven (7) years of experience
  • Strong skills and competencies, including collaboration, system analysis, technology solutions, project management, software testing, code optimization, and software debugging
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and integration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with containerized application development and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
  • Experience with production support and work in a team environment with multiple interfaces
  • Experience with CI/CD, AWS deployments, AWS S3, Cloudfront, ECS, Harness, Bamboo, and UCD
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)
