Job Summary

SJS Executives, LLC is seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team. As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial boilers and heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial boilers and heating systems
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues and ensure system efficiency
  • Install, align, and adjust system components and equipment
  • Use various tools and equipment, including power tools, stationary equipment, and machine tools
  • Apply knowledge of mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic principles to troubleshoot and repair systems
Requirements
  • Valid Secret Clearance
  • Valid state Driver's license
  • Working knowledge of combustion, heat transfer, fuel characteristics, and boiler operation
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic principles
  • Ability to apply broad knowledge of boiler operation and maintenance to a wide range of systems
Work Environment

This position will be based in New London, CT, and will require relocation. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm, with occasional weekend and holiday work required.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position will be $35.15-$40.40 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including 11 paid Federal holidays, 56 hours of accrued Sick time, and medical, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
