Waste Lab Technician

We are seeking a skilled Waste Lab Technician to join our team at Kohler. As a Waste Lab Technician, you will be responsible for the production of Waste Lab Lavs, including gathering, sorting, and processing of industrial waste materials, preparation of vitreous China batches, and forming and casting resin lavatory sinks.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, sort, and process industrial waste materials for production and development purposes.
- Prepare vitreous China batches, foundry materials, bathtub scraps, and resins for casting of lavatory sinks.
- Form and cast resin lavatory sinks within plastic molds.
- Transport molds and finished ware.
- Finish and inspect products, including dry finishing, sanding, painting, shaping, and hand coating.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the Waste Lab.
- Follow department safety rules and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work hands-on as a craftsman and learn new crafts and skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
- Basic math and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
- Self-starter with ability to work with ambiguity.
