Certification Requirements
Candidates must hold current certifications in ACLS and BCLS. Certification in NIH and CCRN is preferred.
Job Details
1 year of experience in ICU is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient diagnosis includes critically ill medical/surgical patients, such as sepsis, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and COVID-19 complications.
Unit Information
The ICU is a split unit with 12 beds, 6 on the 2nd floor and 6 on the 1st floor. Staffing ratio is 1:2-3. Unit systems include Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. Special equipment includes ventilators, BiPAP, and ceiling lifts.
Requirements
Candidates must be willing to float within their skillset. Full compliance with start date is required; failure to comply may result in a 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. A GA License or Compact is required. Aya Offer information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. Aya Offer is only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines and meets specific facility requirements.
Schedule Information
Schedule requirements include RTO of MAX 7 days and blocked scheduling is not guaranteed. Holidays include Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
