Job Title: Peer Recovery Specialist

Job Summary:

The Affiliated Sante Group is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will work closely with youth and their caregivers to provide crisis intervention, support, and education. You will be an advocate for the youth and their caregivers, promoting their health, self-direction, and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and support to youth and their caregivers
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote youth and caregiver health and well-being
  • Collaborate with community agencies and stakeholders to provide wraparound services and support
  • Attend community stakeholder meetings to advocate for youth and caregivers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of professional experience
  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS or CPRS-F) or willingness to be certified within one year of employment
  • Three years in full recovery and five years lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
