Job Title: Behavior Technician

Job Type: Support Staff/Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement student behavior plans and collect data to assist students with extinguishing and managing negative behaviors.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement student behavior plans and collect data to assist students with extinguishing and managing negative behaviors.
  • Work closely with the BCBA to develop and implement behavior plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to students with challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform behavior plans and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

  • RBT certification
  • BA/BS preferred
  • NJDOE certification (special education preferred) or County Sub certification

Working Conditions:

This position requires a high level of energy, patience, and understanding. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with students with challenging behaviors and provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
