Nurse Clinician for Ambulatory Care

At the County of Santa Clara, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Clinician to join our team in the Ambulatory Surgery Care Unit and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. About Our HospitalThe County of Santa Clara owns and operates a Hospitals and Clinics Delivery System that includes Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, O'Connor Hospital, and St. Louise Regional Hospital. Our hospitals provide a range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical services, and rehabilitation programs.
O'Connor Hospital is a 358-bed acute care facility that offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, and specialty programs. We serve more than 1 million residents of San Jose and surrounding communities. Our hospital was founded in 1889 as one of the first hospitals in Santa Clara County.
St. Louise Regional Hospital is a 93-bed acute care facility that is affectionately known as South County's community hospital. We are a Designated Primary Stroke Center and the only acute care hospital in the area. Located in Gilroy, St. Louise is one of the largest employers in the community.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a registered nurse (RN) with at least three years of experience in an accredited hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in the nursing specialty area and possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and nationally recognized certification in a specialty area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes. They will also collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
This is a full-time position with benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $154,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current California Registered Nurse License without restrictions
- Three years of full-time RN experience, of which one year must have been within the last three years, in an accredited hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting
- One year of full-time RN experience, within the last three years, in the nursing specialty area
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Nationally recognized certification in a specialty area
