Gymnastics Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gymnastics Instructor to join our team at the Gateway Region YMCA. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for leading gymnastics classes, developing and implementing lesson plans, and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for our participants.

• Class Instruction: Lead gymnastics classes for participants of various ages and skill levels, providing clear and concise instructions and demonstrations.
• Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with the YMCA's program standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored, and that the gym is clean and safe for participants.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff, providing feedback and encouragement to support participant growth and development.
• Administration: Complete administrative tasks, such as reporting and record-keeping, in a timely and accurate manner.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with school-age children and/or preschool-age children.
• Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and/or experience of basic gymnastics, ability to communicate and direct children in age-appropriate skills, and a basic understanding of child development.
