We are currently seeking a Campground Safety Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

The Campground Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling the campground grounds, addressing inquiries, enforcing regulations, and ensuring the safety of our visitors and their possessions. The successful candidate will maintain composure in high-pressure situations and respond appropriately in accordance with applicable laws.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Vigilantly observe the premises for any issues or potential hazards.
  • Ensure the property is secure and well-maintained.
  • Enforce resort policies, address concerns, and liaise with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Oversee guest access through the campground entrance and verify eligibility.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of rental units.
  • Manage camping reservations, check guests in and out, and sell day passes and merchandise.
  • Prioritize the safety and satisfaction of all guests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in basic reading, writing, and math, with the ability to utilize computer applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to assess situations and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, along with a friendly attitude.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or in an RV setting is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays regularly.
