Job Title: Retail Merchandising Specialist

As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities within designated retail locations. Your tasks will range from implementing planograms to conducting physical inventory checks, assembling merchandise, and maintaining signage, all while being proactive and hands-on in your approach.

  • Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Accurately and promptly execute planograms, resets, and store measurements.
  • Uphold visual merchandising standards to enhance store presentation.
  • Assist in store layout projects and inventory assessments.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by prioritizing customer needs.
  • Be ready to provide support during peak times as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma is required for this position.

  • Background in agriculture, animal care, or welding is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Working Environment:

  • Primarily work indoors with moderate noise levels.
  • Shifts typically range from 4 to 8 hours.
  • Travel between retail locations using personal transportation.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all team members and customers.
  • Adequate working conditions both indoors and outdoors.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel as necessary to support operations.
  • Handle and move merchandise with appropriate equipment.
  • Engage in various physical activities such as standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
  • Utilize effective written and verbal communication.
  • Safely manage birds or poultry as required.
  • Capable of operating store equipment and completing necessary tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport merchandise throughout the store.
  • Maintain physical and mental endurance throughout the work shift.
  • This role requires constant movement and is non-sedentary.
