Job Description

At Motive Companies, we are seeking a highly skilled Stamping Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing and developing progressive dies, as well as coordinating and directing manufacturing processes for stamping machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Design and develop metal stamping dies to meet customer requirements
  • Research and design manufacturing processes to optimize production
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to maximize efficiency
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to ensure accurate budgeting
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements
  • Address customer inquiries and provide technical support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 2-5 years of experience in stamping, preferably metal manufacturing
  • Experience with designing small, tight tolerance parts from concept to manufacturing
  • Knowledge of tooling design, materials, and parts in the metal fabrication process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and GD&T
  • Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (logopress) or other CAD software
  • Critical-thinking skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and listening skills
Salary

$100,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience
