Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parts Sales Associate at Maus Family Auto. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication with customers and staff, and providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers on parts status and provide timely updates
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate and efficient parts ordering and fulfillment
  • Review and verify body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing
  • Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining accurate inventory levels
  • Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy and notify management of any discrepancies
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders as needed
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed correctly on service repair orders
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
Requirements
  • No prior experience required, but a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly are essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills, including calculating figures and amounts
