Job Summary:

This Part-Time Sales Associate role will be responsible for working with a variety of people, maintaining inventory levels, and being the point of contact for store patrons. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, perform cashier responsibilities, display and organize products, maintain the appearance of the store, and assist with ordering merchandise and tracking inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service by greeting customers promptly and courteously, answering their questions, and assisting them in finding what they need.

  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our cash register system.

  • Display and organize products on shelves and in displays to create an attractive and easy-to-shop environment for customers.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise.

  • Assist with ordering merchandise and tracking inventory to ensure that we have the products our customers want when they want them.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as preparing displays and promotions, monitoring inventory, and identifying opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • You must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • You should have basic math skills and be able to operate our cash register system and other equipment.

  • You should be proficient in MS Office Suite and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You should be able to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $14.50 to $16.50 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to your base pay, you may also be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions based on your performance.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, a volunteer day, and participation in our 401(k) plan, pension, and health insurance program, subject to eligibility requirements.
