Position Overview:

AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled attorney to join our Labor & Employment practice group. This role is ideal for a midlevel attorney with a passion for employment law and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Key Details:

  • Job Title: Midlevel Labor & Employment Attorney
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $260,000 to $390,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position with a pathway to partnership.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid license to practice law in California.
  • Three to five years of experience in employment law, particularly in litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing abilities.

Responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Engage in employment litigation, including managing court appearances and depositions.
  • Handle a variety of cases, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits.
  • Provide counsel to clients on wage and hour matters.
  • Draft essential legal documents such as:
    • Motions to compel arbitration
    • Discovery requests and responses
    • Oppositions to class certification motions
    • Settlement agreements in wage and hour class actions
    • Separation agreements and offer letters
  • Conduct labor due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
