We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Westport Place Health Campus. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. This will include implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, observing patient responses to therapy, documenting progress, and reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
  • Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
  • Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
  • Current valid state PTA licensure or certification
  • 0-1 years of experience
